"The Hunt team made a solid showing this weekend amidst dampness that settled into the bones, (and in spite of) low team numbers due to sickness and family funerals," said Adrian first-year coach Jody Prime, "as well as muddy conditions fit only for hippos and amphibians.
"The girls rallied against the less than stellar conditions and some gave their best performances of the season. Two more of the team will likely qualify for regional competition at the final meet at Albion on February 11 and 12," she added.
Adrian will wrap up the month on Saturday at the Ferris State Stock Show held at the Cheff Riding Center in Augusta. The competition is scheduled to start at 8 a.m.
