The Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League (GLCHL) announced its postseason awards and Adrian College did very well as expected after winning the league's regular season and advancing to the tournament final. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 1 in ACHA Division I heading into nationals before falling in the quarterfinals.
Senate Patton was named League Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year. Patton led the team with 70 points in 36 games. He tallied 33 goals, 37 assists, seven power play goals and three game-winners. He also ranked sixth nationally in points.
Head Coach Dan Phelps earned Coach of the Year honors leading the team to a 30-8 record and 18-2 mark in the GLCHL regular season.
Spencer Bonomo was presented with the Sportsmanship Award. Bonomo also was named First Team All-GLCHL at a forward spot. Bonomo finished the season ranked second on the team with 53 points including 29 goals and 24 assists. He also played in 33 games and had six power play goals.
Goaltender Matt Anderson was named First Team All-League after posting numbers of 15-4 record, 2.63 goals-against average, two shutouts and a .900 save percentage. Andrew Amodeo rounded out the First Team All-GLCHL selections for the Bulldogs. Amodeo recorded 34 points with nine goals and 25 assists.
Darren Tarasoff was elected to the Second Team All-GLCHL list on defense. Tarasoff had eight goals and 18 assists (26 points) in 34 games. Tarasoff was also a member of the All-Rookie Team.
Logan Blackwell and Tristan Musser were both selected to the All-Defensive Team. Blackwell was fourth on the team with 20 goals including four power play goals. Musser had 17 points this season with seven goals and 10 assists.
