FREELAND, Mich. – Adrian College men's track and field senior Jordan Davis was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday, April 1. Davis earned 22.5 team points for the Bulldogs at the Hanover Invitational on Saturday to help AC come in third place as a team.

Davis won both hurdles events on Saturday, the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles. He ran a 15.17 in the 110 and a 57.18 in the 400, winning the 110 by almost a full second and the 400 by .48 seconds. He then ran on the 4x100-meter relay team that finished in first place by a second and a half.

Davis won the 110-meter hurdles MIAA Championship his first two years at school and the 400-meter hurdles as a freshman. He was also on the 4x100 relay team that finished with All-American status and fifth in the nation last year.

This is Davis's first MIAA Athlete of the Week award this year and the eighth of the senior's career.

Adrian is back in action this weekend when the Bulldogs head to Tiffin, Ohio for the Tiffleberg Invitational, hosted by Heidelberg University.
