Adrian Cross Country Runs First Race of Year at the Wolverine Twilight

NEW BOSTON, Mich. – The Adrian College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Wolverine Twilight race hosted by the University of Michigan-Dearborn in New Boston, Mich. on Friday, Aug. 31. The men came in 5th place with a score of 120 while the women's team, comprised of all freshmen, ran to a third place finish with a score of 96.

TOP MEN FINISHERS

• Freshman Robert Diebold finished third overall with a time of 16:03.7.

• Senior Clayton Lange came finished 18th with a time of 16:48.3.

• Senior David Frey ran a time of 17:25.2 for a 29th place finish.

TOP WOMEN FINISHERS

• Corrisa Hamilton finished in 10th place with a time of 20:02.9.

Amy Adams ran a 21:00.3 for an 18th place finish.

• Sydney Feekings was right behind Adams, finishing in 19th place with a time of 21:12.4.

UP NEXT

Adrian will compete at the Tiffleberg Invitation at Tiffin, Ohio on Sep. 15. The race will be run at Clinton Heights Golf Course.
