ADRIAN, Mich.--Senior Ryan Dorow became the all-time hits leader in Adrian College baseball history, and the Bulldogs stretched their winning streak to 12 in a row after a sweep of visiting Alma College, 6-5 and 6-3, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action on Good Friday.

= Dorow went 5-for-7 during the doubleheader, including 3-for-3 with a walk in Game 1.
= Junior Hunter Hayes added four hits and three runs batted in on the afternoon.
= Game 1 winner Tommy Parsons improved to 6-1 to pitch another complete game. He had 10 strikeouts and walked just one batter, while working around 13 hits and five runs.
= Freshman Pierce Banks, the Game 2 winner, improved to 5-0 after scattering 10 hits and three runs over eight innings of work. He walked just one and struck out seven.
= Jaret Koin was 6-for-10 with a RBI.
= Greg Goffee, Alex Peczynski, Adam Thoryk and Patrick Finn had three hits apiece throughout the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 1
= Adrian built a 6-0 lead after scoring four runs in the bottom of the third and two more in the fourth inning. Hayes had what stood to be the game-winning hit when he drove in two runs on a single up the middle in the fourth.
= Alma got back in the game in the top of the sixth when they scored all five of its runs on five hits. Patrick Finn put the Scots on the scoreboard with a RBI-fielder's choice, Matthew Minaudo followed with a RBI-double, and Vann Acker capped it with a three-run blast over the left field wall.
HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 2
= Adrian never trailed and junior Frank Resto had what proved to be the game-winning RBI on a single off the shortstop's glove with the infield drawn-in during the fourth, putting the Bulldogs up 4-1. Sophomore Dugan Darnell led off with a walk and advanced to second base on a ground out. Freshman Tristin Richardson tripled down the right field line to plate Darnell, making the score 3-1 at the time. With Richardson at third and one out, the Alma infield played in but Resto singled sharply up the middle.
= Adrian padded its lead to 6-1 in the sixth, scoring twice on wild pitches.
= Finn homered to left-center to cut the deficit to 6-2 in the seventh, and Koin had a RBI-single off the shortstop's glove in the hole to make it 6-3 in the eighth.
= Adrian senior Kyle Shepherd pitched the ninth, allowing only a walk to pick up his second save this spring.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= The Bulldogs are "receiving votes" (27 points) in the Week 7 D3baseball.com Top 25 poll.
= Adrian has 12 consecutive wins--its longest streak in five years. Since the last loss on March 28, the Bulldogs have outscored opponents 89 to 32.
= Dorow passed Alex Cowart (235 from 2007-10) for the most hits in Adrian baseball history. With a sixth-inning single to right-center in Game 1, Dorow was recognized for the record-breaker. He now has 238 for his career, according to the NCAA.
= Parsons now has 52 strikeouts on the season--leading the MIAA--which also is a career high. He also moved into eighth-place in Bulldogs history with 130.
= Parsons also had his consecutive scoreless streak snapped at 25-1/3.
= Banks moved into a second-place tie in the MIAA with five victories this spring.
= Adrian now leads the all-time series over the Scots, 100-79, and the Bulldogs avenge last season's loss to Alma that knocked them out of the conference tournament.
