ADRIAN, Mich.--Senior Miccoy Drzewiecki homered in both games, junior Tommy Parsons and freshman Pierce Banks both pitched complete games, and the Adrian College bats came alive as the Bulldogs swept a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association doubleheader from visiting Albion College in convincing fashion, 14-4 and 13-0, on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 1
= Adrian got all the offense it needed in the bottom of the very first inning when the Bulldogs sent 11 men to the plate to generate six runs on five hits and two walks. Rainey's RBI double was a highlight and Mikowski's RBI-bunt single to third base capped the big frame in which Adrian took advantage of a costly error that led to four unearned runs.
= Drzewiecki led off the fifth with a home run to left field, making the score 10-1.
= Trailing 14-1 in the top of the ninth, Albion plated three runs. Lindemann served up a two-run double down the left field line.
HOW IT HAPPENED, Game 2
= Like the opener, the Bulldogs batted around in an inning. In the third, Adrian tacked on to a 2-0 lead with seven runs on nine hits to make it 9-0. Drzewiecki had the big hit with a two-run double to left field.
= Drzewiecki then blasted a three-run shot over the left field wall as part of a four-run sixth to close the scoring for both teams.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Drzewiecki took over the home run lead in the MIAA with seven, extending his career high.
= Banks claimed the top spot for MIAA earned-run average, leading with a 1.58.
= Parsons increased his conference-leading strikeout total to 60--also a career high.
= As a team, Adrian is batting .433 (42-97) in its last three outings. On the season, the Bulldogs are hitting at a .347 clip.
= Mikowski tops the MIAA with a .473 batting average, followed by Dorow (.438) in third and Killinger (.407) in fifth.
= Dorow (T-1st, 37), Drzewiecki-Hayes (T-3rd, 31) all list among the top-five in MIAA RBI.
