ADRIAN, Mich.--Adrian and Alma colleges have flipped sites for their opening weekend in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball action. The teams will now start the four-game series in Adrian at Nicolay Field on Saturday before traveling to Alma on Sunday. (Originally, the Bulldogs and Scots were scheduled to play in Alma on Saturday and in Adrian Sunday.) The doubleheaders both days will start at 1 p.m.

The nature of the site change was so that the Scots home field, Klenk Park, had more time for suitable playing conditions.

Adrian, which is nationally-ranked No. 12 by American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (239 points) and No. 18 by the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (165) poll, begins its 10-time defending MIAA title defense against the Scots, who are 4-8 on the season including a 0-4 road mark. The Bulldogs are 7-2 overall, winners in six of their last seven outings, and making their home debut tomorrow.
