ADRIAN, Mich.--Adrian Baseball has announced a change in this weekend's schedule against Trine as part of a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association four-game series. Instead of playing on Saturday, the teams will now play Friday in Adrian at Nicolay Field for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. (due to the forecasted weather in the Adrian area). On Sunday, the teams are still scheduled to meet in Angola, Ind., on Sunday for a 1 p.m. twinbill.

The Adrian Bulldogs, who are 25-6 overall and 17-3 for first place in the MIAA standings, have national rankings of No. 16 by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (193 points) and No. 17 in the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (218) poll; in addition, AC appears at No. 5 in the first of three NCAA Division III Mideast Regional rankings, released yesterday, used to determine the field for the NCAA national tournament. The Thunder are 14-18 on the season, including 7-13 in the conference.
