HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team able to break away. The Bulldogs were only down by one with eight minutes left in the half, but Manchester started to pull away, going on a 25-10 run in the last eight minutes to take a 49-33 into the break for the half.
Adrian came out determined to come back and tie the game up, but could only cut the deficit to two points, which AC was able to do twice in the second half. Ultimately the Spartans would hold on, going on a 9-4 run to close out the game with an eight-point victory, giving the Bulldogs their first loss of the young season.
