GRANBURY, Texas--Adrian College senior student-athlete Mitch Osadchuk (Saline, Mich.) has been named to the roster of Team Stars & Stripes at the seventh annual Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars), which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 19, at CETYS University in Baja California.

The all-star game, which replaces the Aztec Bowl that ran for 11 years from 1997 to 2007, pits NCAA Division III football players against Mexico’s CONADEIP All Stars. A record number of 27 Division III schools will be represented on the 2015 roster.
Under the guidance of fourth-year head coach Don DeWaard (Central College), the Americans will train at the Mexicali, UABC and CETYS University campuses in Tijuana, and on the 19th later this month will take on the CONADEIP All Stars selected from the CONADEIP private universities in Mexico at the Margarita Astiazrán de Fimbres Stadium in Baja. The Tazón de Estrellas series is tied at 3-3.

A three-year letterman, Osadchuk earned All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team Defense accolades after posting a career year this fall. The finance major led the Adrian secondary with 56 tackles (29 solo), which doubles his production from his junior year. He also had an interception and broke up three other passes. He recorded a season-high six tackles and 11 total at Albion and also had 11 total stops at Hope. In his final AC appearance, Osadchuk had six tackles (9 total) in a 38-24 win over Trine on Senior Day.
