GRANVILLE, Ohio--The Adrian College men's golf team posted a team score of 324+310=634 to finish fifth at the six-team Ted Barclay Spring Invitational hosted by Denison University at the DU Golf Club, wrapping up 36 holes on Sunday.
The Bulldogs posted the biggest turnaround over the final 18 holes, shaving off 14 shots from Saturday's opening round total of 324.
Sophomore Andrew Skibski led Adrian with a 76+79=155 for 16th-place overall out of 50 individuals. Junior Zak Hart sported a 81+ 76=157 for T-20th, followed by freshman Logan Heffner with a 82+78=160 (29th), sophomore Mo Harb shot a 89+ 77=166 (36th) and classmate Brandon McLean was 85+ 82=167 (T-37th).
Denison Jonathan Taylor took medalist honors for the second weekend in a row, carding a 71+74= 145 for 3-over-par.
Ohio Wesleyan won the team title with a 297+ 300= 597.
Adrian will have a quick turnaround as the Bulldogs are in action again on Monday (1 p.m.) at the Steven L. Tyler Intercollegiate Tournament in Portage, Mich. The event is hosted by Kalamazoo College at The Moors Golf Club.
