ADRIAN, Mich.--Fifth-year head coach Ryan Williams has announced that the Adrian College men's golf team is scheduled to play in seven tournaments this fall, highlighted by two designated home events and culminating with the 2017 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Championships.
The Bulldogs' docket for the 2017-18 school year tees off on Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 2-3, at the Gatorade Collegiate Invitational in Dover, Ohio. Wooster College will serve as the host institution and the Zoar Village Golf Course is the host venue. The first round begins at 10 a.m. and the final round at 8 a.m.
Next up is the Sep. 15-16 Irish Hills Intercollegiate Invitational as Adrian will serve as the host school, holding the event at The Grande Golf Club in Jackson. Both Friday's and Saturday's rounds are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs will also be the host for the first MIAA Jamboree of the season on Tuesday, Sep. 19. The event will be held on Adrian's home course, Lenawee Country Club.
Adrian closes the month of September with MIAA Jamborees #2 and #3 on Saturday, Sep. 23, and Monday, Sep. 25, respectively. The Pine River Country Club and Alma College will be the hosts of the second Jamboree, then the teams will shift to the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive for the Hope College-hosted for the next conference event.
The Bulldogs open October with the MIAA Jamboree #4 on Monday, Oct. 2, when Kalamazoo College will host at the Kalamazoo Country Club.
Following an idle weekend, Adrian concludes the first semester schedule with the MIAA Fall Championships on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13-14, at the Battle Creek Country Club.
All events after Sep. 15-16 are planned to start at 1 p.m.
Williams will release the spring schedule toward the conclusion of the fall semester.
