GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--The Adrian College American Collegiate Hockey Association Division III men's hockey gold team traveled here on Saturday night where the visiting Bulldogs dropped a 6-3 decision to the Calvin Knights at Eagles Ice Center.
Adrian fell behind early, as Calvin scored the game's first three goals before Adrian mounted a comeback in the second period. Jack Clary scored first for the Bulldogs with assists from Trevor Benaglio and Ryan Betz. Andy Petersmark then cut the Calvin lead to just 3-2 as Betz picked up his second assist of the night.
But Calvin regrouped to score the last three goals of the period to re-establish a commanding lead at 6-2 after forty minutes.
