HUDSONVILLE, Mich.--The Adrian College men’s American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 2 team dropped its only game of the weekend on Friday, falling to host Grand Valley State University 6-3 at the Georgetown Ice Center.

The Lakers and Bulldogs traded goals in an entertaining first period to battle to a 2-2 deadlock after twenty minutes. Scoring for the Bulldogs was Brandon McLean with an assist from Stefan Boskovic and Jack Clary added an unassisted goal.

The game got away from the Bulldogs in the second period, however, as the Lakers struck for four unanswered goals to take a commanding 6-2 lead, while Grand Valley outshot the Bulldogs 19-11 in the middle period.

Clary scored a second unassisted goal in the final period, but the damage had all-ready been done as the game ended with the 6-3 final.

The Bulldogs have just three games remaining in the regular season and are off to Concordia Wisconsin this coming weekend with games against the Falcons on February 9-10, before their regular season finale at Toledo on February 16.
