@ACBulldogHockey Repeats NCHA Offensive Player of the Week Award with Vinny Post

NCHA Weekly Release

WAUKESHA Wis.--For the second time in as many weeks, an Adrian College freshman skater has earned offensive player of the week honors from the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. On Tuesday, the NCHA this time named forward Vinny Post (Clarkston, Mich./Carlton Place Canadiens, CCHL) for his first career Association award for the period ending Sunday.

Post had a breakout week after recording five points in a weekend sweep of Finlandia. He led Adrian offensively to an NCHA road sweep of the Lions with three goals and two assists for five total points to go along with a plus-3 rating. In his first collegiate road game on Friday, he had two goals and an assist in a 10-1 win versus the Lions. Then in a 4-1 victory the following afternoon, he scored the go-ahead goal and added an assist.

After missing the first six games due to injury and recovering from surgery, Post has immediately made his presence felt in the lineup with season scoring totals of 4+2=6 in just three contests

Sophomore Trevor Boyd was the first Adrian student-athlete chosen NCHA Offensive Player of the Week this season on Nov. 18. Freshman Vincent Paquette also won last week.
