ADRIAN, Mich.--Junior Matt McNair scored a pair of goals and sophomore goalie Nikita Babintsev made 20 stops to power Adrian in a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over visiting MSOE in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association men's action on Friday evening.

THE BASICS
= Final Score: Adrian College 3, Milwaukee School of Engineering 1

TOP 'DAWGS
= McNair finished with a plus-2 and four shots on goal.

= Babintsev won his second consecutive start of the season in as many assignments.

= Adrian dominated the face-off circle (43-for-69) thanks to senior Connor Armour (13-for-21), classmate Bryan Yim (6-for-9), junior Dino Balsamo (12-for-19) and freshman Rex Moe (9-for-13).

THE OPPOSITION
= Zack Davis scored MSOE's lone goal.

= Brandon Turer led the offense with four shots on goal.

= Rock Boynton (L, 6-6-2) had a game-high 37 saves.

= David Marabella led MSOE with 10 face-off wins in 23 draws.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= McNair scored his second goal of the game, breaking a 1-1 tie midway through the third period. After a face-off win in the offensive zone, junior Vinny Post won a battle along the boards and poked the puck free to McNair who was all alone at the top of the goalie crease to knock home the game-winner.

= Senior Trevor Boyd added an insurance goal on an empty-net with four seconds to go. MSOE played 58 seconds with the goalie to the bench in favor of an extra attacker, trying to get the equalizer and force overtime, but Boyd forced a turnover on two MSOE defenders at his offensive blue line and shot the puck into the back of the net.

= Davis scored the only goal of the first period just 5:09 after the opening face-off. David Marabella assisted on the play.

= McNair tied it 1-1 at 6:10 of the second period, when the Bulldogs outshot the Raiders 20 to six.

= Overall, Adrian also enjoyed a 40-21 shots on goal advantage.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Senior captain Cory Dunn had a secondary assist on McNair's first goal to give him 93 for his career and 116 points. He passes Josh Cousineau (36g, 79a from 2010-13) for 13th on the program's all-time scoring chart.

= Adrian now leads the Raiders 36-5-2 in the all-time series, including 21-3-2 at home. The Bulldogs have won six-straight meetings.

= Boyd has tied Josh Ranalli (2011-14) for fourth place on the Bulldogs' career goal-scoring list with 63. Boyd also has 47 assists for 110 points in 103 games played.
