NAPERVILLE, Ill.--Junior Morgan Caldwell recorded his first multi-goal game in an Adrian College uniform, but the Bulldogs men's lacrosse team suffered 21-3 non-conference loss at the hands of host North Central (Illinois) College.

= Noah Swisshelm (6 ground balls) and John Fitzgerald (5 ground balls) tied Stewart for game-high honors with three caused turnovers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= North Central-Ill. never trailed in taking a 6-0 lead after the first quarter and 11-1 by halftime.
= Adrian put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard with a man-up goal and a feed from Turner with 6 minutes and 53 seconds left before the intermission.
= After an 11-0 run in the first 30 minutes, NCC began the third quarter by scoring five of the first six goals.
= The Cardinals also had statistical advantages in shots (50-20), shots on goal (35-7), face-off wins (19-6), ground balls (40-14) and turnovers (14-24).
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
= This was the first meeting between the programs.
= North Central-Illinois is the second College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin team the Bulldogs have played this season. Elmhurst pinned a 27-3 win on Adrian, which still leads the current alignment of CCIW members 11-5 lifetime.
= Turner ties Cody Kilcoyne (2012-13) for sixth place on the Bulldogs career assists chart with 47.
= Desmadryl leads Adrian with 36 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers--already breaking career bests with half a season to go. He also continues his climb on the school's all-time list for caused turnovers, now ranking sixth with 41 after surpassing Zac Colvin (39, 2009-10,'12). Next up, No. 5 Andrew Suitor with 43 from 2008-09.
= Adrian takes over the team lead with 12 goals, followed by Turner and freshman Fernando Rodriguez with 11 apiece.
= Before today, Caldwell's only previous goal came on April 20, 2016 versus Trine University during his freshman year.
