Nationally No. 24-Ranked Kalamazoo Hornets Sting Bulldogs, 9-0

KALAMAZOO, Mich.--No. 24-ranked Kalamazoo College defeated visiting Adrian College, 9-0, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's tennis action at the Markin Center on Wednesday.

The Hornets improve to 14-1 on the season and 6-0 in the MIAA, while the Bulldogs fall to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in the league.

Junior Brandon Brom was a bright spot for the Bulldogs, taking six games in a straight-sets loss at the hands of Elan Dantus at No. 2 singles.

Branden Metzler, who is the 15th-ranked individual in NCAA Division III, paced Kzoo with victories at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles.

Adrian will close the regular season in a pivotal match on Saturday (2 p.m.) when the 'Dogs host MIAA foe Calvin College at the Craft Tennis Complex. The winner could improve its seeding in the upcoming conference tournament.
