ADRIAN, Mich. — The Adrian College men's wrestling team will have a busy weekend with four duals in back-to-back days.

Adrian will compete at 7 p.m. on Friday in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to wrestle Manchester University at Carroll High School. The Bulldogs then will wrestle beginning at 10 a.m. the following day at Olivet College in duals against Ozarks (Ark.), Henry Ford Community College and Mount St. Joseph.

"I am looking to see how well we handle a quick turn around and back to back weigh-ins," said Head Coach Bill Schindel. "These are keys to be successful at regionals and NCAAs."

Friday's matchup with the Spartans marks the first dual for Adrian this season. Manchester is 0-1 on the season after losing 37-7 to nationally-ranked Wabash on Nov. 9.

"I love duals," Schindel said. "To me, nothing is better than a dual meet."

Schindel said he has created a scouting report to help his team prepare for the weekend.

"If we believe in ourselves and stay confident in our attacks, we will be successful," he said. "We have had a ton of compliments from other coaches and officials about the growth of our program from the last two seasons. While this is nice, we will continue to keep our heads down and just go to work. I am very thankful for how hard everyone has worked, but this is just the start."
