Kathy Morris Inducted into Vanlue High School Hall of Fame

ADRIAN, Mich. - Women's Basketball head coach Kathy (Lee) Morris got to take a trip down memory lane back on January 25, 2014 when she was inducted into the Vanlue (Ohio) High School Athletic Hall of Fame. She compiled an impressive resume at the prep ranks playing from 1982-85 for the Wildcats. Vanlue is located about 12 miles southeast of Findlay, Ohio.

Lee played four years of varsity basketball before continuing her playing career at Muskingum University. She still holds the career scoring record at Vanlue with 1,492 points and also grabbed 724 rebounds. She holds the single-game scoring record with 43 points during her senior year. In 1984-85, she was named First Team All-Blanchard Valley Conference, Second Team AP All-Northwest Ohio and UPI All-State Honorable Mention. Lee was also named UPI All-State Honorable Mention as a junior and surpassed the 1,000-point barrier during that year. She was a three-time First Team All-BVC selection.
