ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced this season's All-MIAA recipients as voted on by the league's head coaches. Senior LaQwana Dockery (Macomb Twp., Mich./Dakota) was named Second Team All-MIAA marking the first time she has made the All-Conference list.
Dockery capped off her career with 917 points and 429 rebounds in 98 games. This season, she ranked third in league games with 63 free throws, seventh in scoring (14.2) and 12th in rebounding (5.8). Dockery averaged 30.2 minutes per game throughout the season and overall shot 44.5 percent from the floor and 72.5 percent from the free throw line. She set new career-highs earlier this season with 27 points on Nov. 15 at Transylvania and 12 rebounds on Nov. 16 versus Hanover.
