ADRIAN, Mich. -- With their bowling season over, the women's bowling team used their skills for a good cause participating in the Bowl for the Kids fundraiser at Lenawee Recreation recently. The team exceeded the last two previous year's totals raising $668 for this year, which was the highest amount raised amongst all teams bowling in their squad.
The five team members that raised the most money got to bowl and freshman Katie Pakkala raised the largest amount. All proceeds from the event go to support the Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee County.
"Bowl for the Kids is a fun event that our bowlers look forward to every year and it supports a great cause," said head coach Jody Fetterhoff. "Everyone at the Boys & Girls club does a tremendous job and it's great to see the community come out and continue to support them."
