HARROD, Ohio--The Adrian College women's golf squad sported a 357+358=715 score over 36 holes to wrap up the two-day Ohio Northern University Spring Invitational at the Colonial Golfers Club on Sunday, winding up tied for fifth in the 11-team event.
Leading Adrian was a trio of top-20 individuals in freshman Brooke Symons (T-12th, 89+88=177), senior Emily Bristow (T-17th, 90+88=178) and junior Elizabeth Barrett (T-17, 87+91=178. Also in the mix were sophomore Sierra Woodcum (T-26th, 91+91=182) and junior Alysa Graf (31st, 94+91=185).
The Bulldogs tied with Capital University with identical 715 team scores.
NAIA-scholarship University of Northwestern Ohio took the team crown with a 333+331=664, and the Racers' Faithe Carr also earned medalist honors with a 81+78=159.
Adrian returns to action next Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (9 a.m.) at the Bump Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on the Mill Creek Golf Club's course.
