Women's @ACBulldogGolf Wind Up Fourth at Steven Tyler Intercollegiate Invitational

PORTAGE, Mich.--The Adrian College women's golf team capped off 54 holes in three days on Monday with a solid fourth-place finish at the Steven L. Tyler Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Kalamazoo College at The Moors Golf Club.

The Bulldogs shot a 358 to best Albion College (384), Cornerstone University (488) and host Kzoo Hornets who did not finish.

Senior Emily Bristow and freshman Brooke Symons paced the Adrian effort with identical eighth-place finishes with an 85 apiece. Junior Elizabeth Barrett was not far behind with an 88 for tied for 12th, giving the Bulldogs just the second team with three in the top-12.

Rounding out the Bulldogs contingent were sophomore Libby Dusenbery (100, 24th) and freshman Katelyn Church (101, T-25th).

NCAA Division II Provisional Davenport University won the team title with a 321, and Cleary University's Madison Smith took home medalist honors with a 76 to beat a field of 33 individuals.

Adrian is scheduled to close the season on Thursday, April 20, to host its Adrian College Spring Invitational at the Lenawee Country Club. The Bulldogs are the defending tournament champions.
