JEROMESVILLE, Ohio--The Adrian College women's golf squad finished in 12th place (400 strokes) at the two-day College of Wooster Spring Invitational over the weekend, as Sunday's final 18 holes were canceled due to inclement weather.

Sophomore Brooke Symons led Adrian with her second-straight 28th-place (tie) showing by carding an 89 on the par 72, 5803-yard course of the Mohican Hills Golf Club. There were 73 individuals in the field. Also in the Bulldogs lineup were junior Libby Dusenbery (T-50th, 98), freshman Hannah McKee (T-55th, 102), sophomore Katelyn Church (70th, 111) and junior Ashley Morris (T-71st, 117).

Denison University captured the team title with a 326. Denison teammates Emmy Timberlake and Megan Wong were both first on the leaderboard with identical 77 scores, but the former was declared the medalist by virtue of having a lower score on the back nine on Saturday.

The Bulldogs close the season on Thursday when they host the Adrian College Spring Invitational at Lenawee Country Club, starting at 1 p.m.
