Women's Golf Competes in Second MIAA Jamboree in Granger, Indiana

GRANGER, Ind.--The Adrian College women's golf team on Saturday played in the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the season here at the Knollwood Golf Club hosted by Saint Mary's College. The Bulldogs shot a team score of 385 for seventh place.

Junior Brooke Symons once again led the Adrian contingent with an 86 for a tie for eighth place out of 55 individuals. She was followed by sophomore Hailey Scott (91, T-22nd) and freshmen Alexis Weston (102, 43rd), Lauren Yankee (106, T-49th), Audrey Jutis (112, 53rd). In addition, sophomore Hannah McKee played as an individual and placed tied for 47th (105).

For the second time in a row, the St. Mary's Belles defeated Hope College (324-351) for the team title and Taylor Kehoe of the hosts was the medalist with a 77.

The Bulldogs will have a quick turnaround in their next action because the MIAA#3 Jamboree will take place on Tuesday (1 p.m.) at The Ravines Golf Club Saugatuck, Mich. It will be hosted by the Hope Flying Dutch.
