SAUGATUCK, Mich.--The Adrian College women's golf team shot a 378 for eighth place in Tuesday's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree #3 hosted by Hope College here at The Ravines Golf Club, marking a seven-stroke improvement from the Bulldogs' previous outing in MIAA Jamboree #2 three days ago.

Junior Brooke Symons (pictured below; photo courtesy of Alan Babbitt) led the way again for Adrian with an 88 for a 28th-place tie, followed by sophomore Hailey Scott (90, T-34th), senior Libby Dusenbery (98, 45th), and freshmen Lauren Yankee (102, 47th), Alexis Weston (107, 49th). In addition, freshman Audrey Jutis Adrian played as an individual (109, 50th).

Hunter Kehoe set a MIAA course record with a 2-under-par 70 on the 5,919-yard course to be the medalist on the afternoon, eclipsing the previous best of 75 by Hope's Megan Klintworth in 2016. Kehoe also tied for the lowest round in MIAA play so far this season. Her team, St. Mary's College (Ind.) topped second-place host Hope, 293 to 323.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday (1 p.m.) for the MIAA Jamboree #4 at the Millham Park Golf Club, hosted by Kalamazoo College.
