Walsh and Kusch Selected to All-USCHO Teams

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's NCAA ice hockey team continues to receive recognition as they received two nods to the All-USCHO teams announced by the site courtesy of Candace Horgan on March 27. Sophomore goaltender Jade Walsh and senior forward Kelsey Kusch have been selected to the teams by the USCHO.com writers and editor.

Walsh has been named a First Team All-USCHO goaltender following her sophomore season that saw her finish second in Division III with 20 wins. Walsh (Cochrane, Alb.) was named All-USCHO in the net following her outstanding season that saw her notch a 20-2-4 record while recording three shutouts and compiling a 1.28 goals-against average. Walsh finished the season ranked third in save percentage (.944) while playing the third-most minutes (1,493:33). She finished her 2014-15 campaign with 538 saves, and allowed just 32 goals in 26 games played.

Kusch (St. Clair Shores, Mich.) has been named a Third Team All-USCHO forward following her senior season in which she finished 15th in Division III in scoring. Kusch repeated as an All-USCHO honoree with a 36-point season (20 goals and 16 assists). Kusch tallied nine power play goals on the Bulldogs' top-ranked unit and added four game-winning goals.
