Women's Hockey To Hold Toy and Clothing Drive This Weekend

ADRIAN, Mich. – The top-ranked Adrian College women's hockey team is conducting a Toy and Clothing Drive for the Associated Charities of Lenawee County during the Bulldogs' games this weekend. Conference foe Aurora University comes to town to face Adrian a pair of games this weekend, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 and 3 p.m. on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used toys and clothing items to support as many kids as possible this holiday season.

The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 1 in the country for the first time in program history. The ranking comes on the heels of winning the Panther/Cardinal Classic last weekend, which saw the Black and Gold take down No. 2 Plattsburgh State in the semifinals of the tournament. This was a rematch of the 2017 National Championship Match and the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Cardinals in six tries. Adrian followed that performance up by defeating the hosts and No. 4-ranked Middlebury in the championship game.
