Women's Tennis Doubles Up NAIA-Scholarship University of Saint Francis (Ind.), 6-3

ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College women's tennis team overcame a 2-1 deficit after the doubles competition to win five of six singles matches and capture a 6-3 non-conference victory Sunday over NAIA-scholarship University of Saint Francis at the Craft Tennis Complex.

Junior Renae Adams Almasy led the way for the Bulldogs with two points, teaming up with freshman Samantha Cyrus to pick up Adrian's lone win at No. 2 doubles and then defeating Brittany Barger at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-4.

Bulldogs resume the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schedule on Tuesday (4 p.m.) at home against Albion College.
