Caroline Fleming is the first Bulldogs women's soccer representative to be selected Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week in 2019.
Fleming posted five points for the Bulldogs in a 1-0-1 week when she was recognized by the MIAA on Sept. 23. In Adrian's 3-3 double overtime tie with nationally-ranked Otterbein on Thursday, the Grosse Ile, Mich., native owned the game-opening goal and an assist.
In a 2-0 homecoming win over Michigan-Dearborn on Sept. 21, Fleming again recorded the game-opening and winning goal midway through the opening half.
Fleming leads the squad with seven goals and 19 points, ranking second in the MIAA in both of the categories, through nine games in September.
For her career, the athletic training major has 30 goals and 25 assists for 85 points--tying Amy Buchanan (33g,19a, 1989-93) for fourth place on the school's all-time scoring list.
