GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Adrian College Men's and Women's Cross Country team competed in the Knight Invite hosted by Calvin University.
 
The men's team finished fifth out of ten teams earning a total of 191 points and a team time of 2:23:53. Fifth year Robert Diebold led the Bulldogs clocking a time of 27:16, finishing 24th overall. Freshman Will Houvener (27:54) and Sophomore Ale Grzebork (29:23) finished second (32nd overall) and third (43rd overall) respectively out of the Adrian runners.
 
The women's team finished tenth overall by earning 232 points and a team time of 2:11:31. Emme Koutz was the first Bulldog to finish placing 22nd overall, she finished with a time of. 24:15. Emma Frost (26:07) and Kelly Fielder (26:28) were the second (69th overall) and third (118th overall) place finishers in the pack of Bulldogs. 
 
The Bulldogs will return to Grand Rapids next to compete in the Rider Invite. Hosted by Grand Rapids Community College the race will take place on Saturday Sept. 19, start times are to be determined.
