ERIE, Pa. – The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team saw an improvement in their team score during the second meet of the season on Friday at Gannon. The Bulldogs finished with 210.005 points during the meet and fell to the Golden Knights who scored 249.935 points.
The Bulldogs struggled in the first event of the meet and trailed 34.50 to 21.75 after compulsory. Gannon scored 9.60 out of 10 points in the pyramid and toss heat which allowed them to distance themselves early. Adrian scored 21 of 30 points in the acro event including a 7.65 in the seven-element heat which was the third one.
The Bulldogs scored 25.15 out of a possible 29.95 points in the pyramid event and 23.55 out of 27.05 points in the toss event. The biggest increase scoring-wise happened in the final team event. Adrian scored 77.58 points out of 100.88 after being in the 50's last meet.
