MEQUON, Wis. – The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling season concluded on Sunday with a dual meet at Concordia (Wis.). The Falcons lost to the Bulldogs earlier this season in a tri-meet in Adrian but got the upper hand this time by the score of 241.375-237.730.
The meet was close throughout as the Bulldogs won the acro and team event while the Falcons took the compulsory, pyramid, toss and tumbling events. The opening event was compulsory which was the largest margin in favor of the Falcons on the day. They scored 31.75 to 28.95 for the Bulldogs. The acro event narrowly went to Adrian by the score of 27.93 to 27.70. The pyramid event saw the Falcons win 28.25 to 27.20. The halftime score was 87.70 to 84.08 in favor of Concordia (Wis.).
The Bulldogs won the second half of competition by a very slim margin of 153.700-153.675. Adrian scored 24.75 out of 27.20 points in the toss. They also scored 44.050 out of 50.20 in the tumbling event. The team event wrapped up the meet and Adrian scored 84.85 out of 101.10 points.
