Bulldogs Post Second Highest Point Total for Season, Finish Third in Tri-Meet at Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – The Adrian college acrobatics and tumbling team competed in a tri-meet against King and the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. The Bulldogs would finish third with a final score of 238.070, King was second with 258.310 and Oregon finished in the top spot with a 282.970.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Adrian finished the Compulsory Event with a 34.05 event score, just 2.20 points behind second place King for the event
  • The gap from first place to third place increased following the Acro Event were there was a 3.85 margin between first place and third place
  • The Bulldogs stayed within a point during the pyramid, only trailing Oregon by .85 points in the event
  • The final point total of 238.070 is Adrian's second highest point total of the season

THE OPPOSITION

  • Oregon led the way from start to finish, finishing first in every event
  • Oregon's point total of 282.970 is the season high for the squad
  • Oregon scored a perfect 10.00 in the Release (heat 3) heat of the Pyramid event
