Hunt seat riders post best results thus far at Grand Valley State

ALLENDALE, Mich.- The Adrian College hunt seat team competed Sunday at Grad Valley State University, and the riders continued their great improvements as they posted impressive results.

Open Over Fences: Mary Hawes-2nd

Novice Over Fences: Ashley Lopez-2nd

Open division on the flat: Mary Hawes-3rd

Intermediate division on the flat: Marcia Cripps-4th

Novice on the flat: Ashley Lopez 3rd and Antonina Marano 6th

Advanced Walk/Trot/ Canter: Sydney Simpson-5th

Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter: Kim DeVore-2nd and Lindsay Durcel-3rd

Walk/Trot division: Courtney Estes-5th

Coach Emily Nett was excited about the great results the riders posted, "we had great rides all day from our girls. I am really proud of how our riders competed in every division. They continue to improve each time they ride, and their efforts are leading to improved results."

The Bulldog equestrian team will compete again November 10 when the stock seat riders head to Grand Valley State for a double header.
