FREELAND, MICH. - Adrian College men's track and field athlete Jordan Davis was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's track athlete of the week as announced by the league office today.
Davis improved upon his own school record in the men's 60-meter hurdles with an 8.20 finish--a 0.01 improvement. That time also puts him firmly in the lead of the conference in that event and moves him to 12th in the national rankings.
This is his first athlete of the week recognition this season and the fifth of his career.
Davis will look to lead the Bulldogs this week in the MIAA Indoor Championships at Trine on Saturday, February 24.
