Baseball Gears Up For Inaugural MIAA Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. - The inaugural Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament is set to get underway on Wednesday, May 9. #1 seed Adrian (32-8) will host #4 seed Albion (19-21) in a 4:00 PM contest. The tournament is double-elimination format and all games are scheduled for nine innings. In the other game on Wednesday, #2 seed Trine (24-16) will host #3 seed Hope (22-18) in Angola, Indiana also at 4:00 PM.

The tournament will continue at Nicolay Field on Thursday, May 10 with three games on the docket. Game times are 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The tournament will conclude Friday, May 11 at 12:00 PM unless the if necessary game is needed. That contest would start at 3:00 PM.

Tickets for the event are $15 for an all-tournament pass and $7 for a day ticket. All senior citizens and students are $5 for a day ticket. Tickets will be available on site at the gate.
