Greenwood and Dorow Named MIAA Players of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich.  – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Adrian infielder Ryan Dorow its Position Player of the Week and Adrian righthander Brent Greenwood its Pitcher of the Week for games played through March 23.

Dorow, a freshman from South Haven (South Haven HS), hit .455 (10-for-22), including four doubles, scored four runs and drove in three in leading the Bulldogs to a 4-2 record for the week. He had three 2-hit games during a four-game series with Albion to open the MIAA season. Dorow, who is being honored as Position Player of the Week for the first time in his career, had  a .520 on-base percentage and a .636 slugging percentage for the week.
 
Greenwood, a senior from Toledo, Ohio (Whitmer HS), fired a five-hitter and struck out nine while not walking a batter as Adrian shut out Albion, 6-0, in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader. He is being honored as Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career.
