Vinny Slobodecki settled in nicely for Trine as he retired 11 batters in a row as Adrian came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth. Rios worked a leadoff walk to start the inning and stole second with one out. Pinch hitter Tommy Eng smoked a single to center as Rios moved to third. Braydon Gomes stepped up as a pinch hitter and lifted a sacrifice fly to center to score Rios with the go-ahead run. Yax kept the inning alive with a single to center moving Eng to second. Jake Weimer entered the game to replace Slobodecki and he was rudely greeted by a double to left center scoring two more runs for a 7-4 lead. Adrian entered the game having outscored their opponents, 27-8, in the sixth inning. Adrian left the bases loaded in the sixth and Sombati was poised to get his first win of the season.

He went 1.2 innings and gave up five hits and four more earned runs. Rylie Robinson (6-0) did his usual thing on the mound tying Schmidt for the team lead in wins. Robinson got hit with a line drive off the bat of Prebynski for the final out of the fourth but remained in the game and threw his team-leading fourth complete game of the season. He allowed seven hits and two earned runs with a walk and four strikeouts needing just 80 pitches (60 strikes).
