ADRIAN, Mich. - The 2015 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball tournament will get underway on Wednesday, May 6. The opening round game of the double-elimination format will be at two sites. Top-seeded Adrian College (30-10) will host fourth-seeded Kalamazoo College (20-20) at 6 p.m. at Nicolay Field and second-seeded Calvin College (20-19) will host rival and third-seeded Hope College (22-17) at Calvin Field beginning at 4 p.m.
The remainder of the tournament will be conducted at Nicolay Field on Thursday, May 7. The winners of Game 1 and 2 will square off at noon. The losers of Game 1 and 2 will follow at 3 p.m. The winner of that contest and the loser of the day's first game will play at 6 p.m. The tournament concludes on Friday, May 8 with the championship game at noon. If the loser's bracket participant wins, the "if necessary" game will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for non-MIAA students, seniors (65+) and MIAA faculty and staff with proper identification. All MIAA-institution students are FREE with ID. These prices are on a per-game basis during the tournament. If you choose to leave the facility, you will need to purchase another ticket to re-enter. Parking is available at the track and field area, softball parking lot and limited spaces are available down Creehan Lane.
