Offense Continues to Roll as @AdrianBaseball Completes Sweep of Blackburn College in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss.--The Adrian College baseball team rapped 14 hits, including 12 for extra bases, en route to a 15-7 non-conference win Sunday over Blackburn College here at this neutral site, following up Saturday's 22-1 rout of the Beavers.

= Final Score: Adrian 15, Blackburn 7

= Location: Twenty Field, Jackson, Miss.

= Records: Adrian Bulldogs 2-1, Blackburn Beavers 0-5

= Junior Miccoy Drzewiecki belted a home run, triple and a double in six at-bats and had five runs batted in.

= Senior Josh Knorr went 3-for-3, including a double, with two walks, four runs scored and two RBI. He also had two stolen bases along with junior Ian Mikowski.

= Senior Collin Parcher hit two doubles, scored three times and drove in four runs.

= Sophomore Guy McComas was terrific in relief, pitching six innings to get the win. He allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out six batters.

= Leading 5-4 after three innings, Ryan Dorow slammed a two-run home run to put Adrian up 7-4 in the fourth. 

= The Bulldogs broke the game open with four runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh, making it 14-5 at the time.

Matt Mokriakow led Blackburn with three hits and two RBI.

= Joey Szerletich had two hits and three RBI, while Brock Hill had two hits and two RBI.

= Shane Lewis and Jared Jones added two hits apiece.

= The Ravens outhit the Bulldogs 15 to 14.  

= Adrian never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 3-0 advantage after the top of the first.

= After starting 7-for-33 (.212), the Bulldogs are 34-for-91 (.374) since.

= The Bulldogs have scored 37 runs in their last two outings.

= Adrian will participate at the Piedmont College Spring Classic in Demorest, Ga., from Friday through Sunday, playing nationally-ranked foes Birmingham Southern, Piedmont and Marietta.
