FRANKLIN, Ind.--Junior Ian Mikowski had three of Adrian College's seven hits and Bulldog batters drew 12 walks in a 13-5 non-conference baseball win over Capital University at a neutral site here at Franklin College on Saturday.

= Mikowski went 3-for-4, including a double, with two walks at the plate, scored twice and had three runs batted in.
= Junior Ryan Dorow had a single, sacrifice fly and two RBI.
= Senior pitcher Jordan Frayer started the first six innings to get the win (1-2). He scattered seven hits, allowed three runs (2 earned) and had four strikeouts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The Bulldogs, who never trailed, grabbed a 4-0 lead after an inning-and-a-half.
= Leading 4-3, Adrian broke the game open with six runs in the top of the seventh inning, coming on a wild pitch, passed ball, two errors, single and sacrifice fly.
= Tyler Cetnarowski, Logan Bastin and Joe Caporale had two hits apiece.
= Caporale drove in a pair of runs on a single in the bottom of the second to cut the deficit in half at 4-2.
= The Crusaders outhit Adrian 11 to 7.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Adrian batters were patient at the plate drawing 12 base on balls against six Crusaders pitchers. That's the most walks by the Bulldogs since April 28, 2013, when AC drew 16 versus Olivet pitching in the second game of a doubleheader.
= Adrian improves to 11-14 all-time against Capital, winning for the seventh time in the last 11 meetings.
