BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--Adrian College junior shortstop Ryan Dorow (South Haven High School) was tabbed to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week#11 for a second time this season on Tuesday. The seven-day period ended Sunday.
Dorow extended his hitting streak to 21 games while helping Adrian to a 4-1 week with a slashline of .556/.650/.833. He tied for the team lead with eight runs batted in, scored six times and hit his Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-leading eighth home run of the season to move within two of tying the Bulldogs' career record of 25.
The sports management major lists first in the MIAA with 55 hits, 48 RBI, 87 total bases, second with a .420 batting average, third with a .664 slugging percentage, fourth with 36 runs and sixth with a .497 on-base percentage.
Dorow also was named to the D3baseball TOW on March 8 during Week#4.
In addition, the Bulldogs picked up 10 points in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association NCAA Division III Top-25, so if the poll was extrapolated Adrian would be ranked 37th in the nation.
