FREELAND, Mich.--Adrian College senior shortstop Ryan Dorow (South Haven High School) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for the sport of baseball, it was announced on Monday.
Dorow earns the conference's weekly award for the fourth time in his career with the Bulldogs.
A sports management major, Dorow led the Bulldogs' 2-0 week to open MIAA play in hits (5), batting average (.625), on-base percentage (.625) and slugging (1.125). He tied the school mark for career home runs (25) in the fifth inning of a 4-1 Game 1 win over Olivet, adding two insurance runs for Adrian.
