BATTLE CREEK, Mich.--Adrian College baseball standouts Ryan Dorow (South Haven High School) and Tommy Parsons (New Albany [Ohio] High), who shined at the NCAA Division III regional level this past spring, are proving their mettle for the Battle Creek Bombers out of the Northwoods League, widely regarded as one of the nation's best summer leagues.
Dorow, a senior-to-be shortstop, and Parsons, a junior-to-be right-handed pitcher, have also caught the eye of Bombers manager Gary McClure, who has spent the last 27 seasons at NCAA Division I Austin Peay State University.
The duo was recently spotlighted by Battle Creek Enquirer sports staff writer Nick Buckley. To read his feature "Adrian College players prove they belong with Bombers", please click here. Photo: Al Lassen/For the Enquirer
