Bulldogs Score Triple Digits for the Second Time this Season to Roll Kalamazoo 100-63

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Christian Covile scored 23 points in a dominating performance against Kalamazoo that saw the Bulldogs score 100 points for the second time this season. The win is the second straight for the black and gold and improves their conference record to 3-4.

The Bulldogs took the lead less than five minutes into the game and never relinquished it, building the lead to 21 points (51-30) at half time.

The lead would continue to increase in the second half. Adrian would achieve a 40-point lead, their largest of the game, with a minute and fourteen seconds left in the game. The Hornets would score the final three points of the game to put the final score at 100-63.

Four other Adrian players scored in the double digits. Rickey Jackson, Jr. and Venson Bryant both scored 17 points. Anthony Cannon and Travon Johnson each contributed 10 points. Bryant also tallied nine rebounds on the night. Isiah Crofford recorded eight rebounds for Adrian.

The Bulldogs shot 50.8% (33-65) from the floor, 54.5% (12-22) from the three-point line and 71.0% (22-31) from the charity stripe. Adrian scored 36 points off the 24 Kalamazoo turnovers in the game. The Bulldog bench contributed 39 points to game. The Bulldogs outrebounded the Hornets 44-28.

Adrian continues their road trip by traveling to Olivet on Saturday, January 30. Opening tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
