The men's bowling team competed in their first tier 1 tournament of the season as they traveled to Addison, Illinois to bowl against 62 other teams in the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic. On day one of the competition the men set a new program record in game two as the team shot a 976. The men were in 55th place with 16 baker games to go on Sunday. Freshman Dylin Hunter led the way for the men as he averaged 187.83. Junior Clay Kirner and freshman Kyle Wood also had strong showings as they averaged 171.67 and 170.5 for six games.
The guys had another strong baker performance as they shot a 2,883 for 16 baker games. They improved their average by eleven pins and for the second tournament in a row they averaged 180 for baker games. Their strong finish moved them up four spots to finish in 51st place.
