Junior Dylin Hunter Captures Individual Title at AC Open to Help Host Bulldogs Finish in Second Place Overall

ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College men's bowling team had excellent performances over the weekend, finishing in a season's best second-place at its own AC Bulldogs Open held at the Lenawee County Recreation Center.

Adrian toppled 6,958 total pins during the tournament--second only to Concordia University-Ann Arbor's 7,060. The team started out in 10th place but came together through bakers and bowled great to move up eight spots into the second seed after qualification.

In the elimination first-round, No. 3-seeded University of Toledo was able to stop the Bulldogs momentum for a 2-to-nothing series win.

Leading the Bulldogs' cause was junior Dylin Hunter who averaged an amazing 242 for four games to total 968, winning the singles portion of the tournament and earning all-tournament honors.

Justin Friedel, a freshman, also produced a top-25 showing by coming in 21st place with 751 pins.

Next up, Adrian travels to Beavercreek, Ohio, on Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 12-13, for the Raider Classic held at Beaver Vu Bowl and hosted by Wright State University.
