Junior Cameron Cook's Career Day Nets Weekly Accolades at Conference and National Levels

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--Adrian College junior placekicker Cameron Cook (Linden, Mich.) made his first appearance on the season's first D3football.com Team of the Week Presented by Scoutware, the website announced on Tuesday.

In addition, Cook was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week, Commissioner Penny Allen-Cook also announced today.

Cook, who was the only placekicker recognized nationally, converted 100 percent of his attempts on field goals of 41, 46 and 24 yards and all three extra points to help Adrian defeat Pacific (Ore.), 30-28, in the teams' 2016 opener on Friday.

He booted a career-long 46-yard field goal to start the scoring in the second quarter, extending Adrian's lead to 13-0 with 11 minutes and 16 seconds remaining.
